Hell Bear American Whiskey – 90 Proof
A blend of straight rye and bourbon whiskies.
Tasting Notes: Starts with fruit and light botanicals, followed by rye spice and finishes with smooth vanilla and caramel. Expect flavors of cinnamon, sweet cereal grains, caramel and a touch of berries.
Component whiskies aged in charred American oak barrels for 4 to 6 years.
Pairs with Enstrom’s Toffee. The rye spice will balance really nicely with the rich toffee.
Best Friend Bourbon – 88 Proof
Our best-selling whiskey. An exceptionally delicious every day sipper.
Tasting Notes: Sweet wildflower honey and cornbread on the nose, followed by honeycomb and cinnamon on the palate, and finishing with vanilla, pipe tobacco, and black currant.
Component whiskies aged in charred American oak barrels for 4 to 15 years.
Pairs with a milk chocolate that can be mixed with pretzels.
Syrah Finished Whiskey – 94 Proof
Our Hell Bear American Whiskey, finished in fresh Syrah wine barrels.
Tasting Notes: Blackberry jam and baking spices on the nose, followed by flavors of chocolate-dipped raspberries, mulled wine, and brown sugar. A lingering finish of caramelized cherries and mint.
Freshly harvested syrah wine barrels provided by Dominio IV in Oregon.
Pairs exceptionally well with chocolate dipped fruit, specifically blackberries.
Cask Strength Hell Bear – Proof Varies
Full flavor Hell Bear America Whiskey at barrel proof.
Tasting Notes: Floral notes, charred oak, and dried fig on the nose, leading to rich caramel and vanilla on the palate with a lingering finish of orchard fruit and spice.
Pairs well with Bee Grateful Farms honey caramels.
Cask Strength Best Friend – Proof Varies
Full flavor Best Friend Bourbon at barrel proof.
Tasting Notes: Peanut brittle, honeysuckle, and cornbread on the nose. The palate reveals rich caramel and oak, finishing with pipe tobacco, crème brûlée, and vanilla bean.
I like to pair this with assorted nuts and peanut brittle.
Thunder Hoof Rye – 102 – 104 Proof
A 10-Year Aged Rye Whiskey
Tasting Notes: Dark chocolate and mature oak on the nose, followed by caramel, rye spice and malted chocolate on the palate, and finishing with rich caramel and cinnamon.
Component whiskies aged in charred American oak barrels for 10 years.
Pairs well with mint chocolate and dark chocolate.
Straight Bourbon finished in White and Tawny Port Barrels
Best Friend Bourbon finished for an additional 2.25 years in Port Casks.
Tasting Notes: Brown sugar, peach and dry cedar on the nose followed by chocolate covered cherries, nutmeg and oak spice on the palate, and finishing with Cherry-Cola, toasted nuts and rich leather.
Best Friend Bourbon in a fresh White Port Cask, after 18 months we dumped it and refilled it into an Ex-Tawny Port barrel where it aged for an additional 9 months.
Pairs fantastic with a raspberry white chocolate.
